Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for education? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants across multiple primary schools in the Cardiff area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational development of young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide valuable support to classroom teachers in delivering lessons in the Welsh language.
  • Assist with the preparation of Welsh language resources and materials tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Work closely with small groups or individual students, delivering instruction and support in Welsh.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where the Welsh language and culture are celebrated.
  • Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers in Welsh where necessary.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure the successful integration of Welsh language and culture into the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Fluent Welsh speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Passionate about education and supporting the holistic development of young learners.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and schools.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or Welsh language education are desirable but not essential.
