An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager (Internals) to join a high-profile high-rise residential new build project in Cardiff. This is a 3-month contract role with an immediate start, working for a major contractor delivering key internal packages on a fast-moving scheme.
Role Overview:
As the Site Manager responsible for internals, you will oversee the internal fit-out from 1st fix through to handover. You'll coordinate trades, monitor progress, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and programme compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all internal trades (drylining, M&E, joinery, finishes, etc.)
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the internal fit-out
- Monitor daily site activity and ensure work is delivered in line with programme milestones
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce H&S policies on site
- Work closely with the project manager and other site leads to ensure smooth progression
Requirements:
- Experience delivering internal packages on high-rise or multi-unit residential developments
- Strong fit-out knowledge from shell & core to final finishes
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
- Immediately available and able to commit for 3 months
- Cardiff-based or able to travel daily
Contract Details:
- 3-month contract
- 350 per day (Ltd / CIS, depending on status)
