Your new school:
An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to workwithin a medium-sized primary school in Cardiff. The school has achieved great feedback in their most recent Estyn inspection and seeks to continue improving their facilities and learning community for their pupils. If successful, you will be working with a helpful and caring Senior Leadership Team as well as alongside excellent teachers and Teaching Assistants. You will be a part of a supportive learning environment for both staff and pupils. Your new role: This role is based on a Foundation phase class, teaching 5 days a week. You will be responsible for full-time teaching responsibilities, including preparation for a primary-sized class of between 20 and 30 pupils.

Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:
* Create lesson plans.
* Creating and maintaining a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
* Setting homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours.
* Demonstrating tasks, assigning, and encouraging discussions.

What you'll need to succeed:
You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS with a passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed. You will need previous experience of working with children aged 3-11 within the past 2 years. You will hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to undertake a new one. Some key attributes required will be for you to be enthusiastic, respectful, dedicated, empathetic and have a caring persona. Additional relevant skills include being reliable and providing a calm response whilst in the classroom.
