Day-to-day of the role:- Support the educational and social development of pupils aged 11-19 with autism.
- Work closely with teachers to prepare and deliver learning activities.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide feedback.
- Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the school’s culture and ethos, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as per the Education (Wales) Act 2014.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check clearance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Fluency in Welsh is advantageous but not essential.
- £12.82 per hour, online timesheets and weekly pay!
