Responsibilities:

- Responsible for safeguarding, supporting and promoting welfare of vulnerable children and young

people

- Effectively manage your own complex and varied caseload whilst managing the reputation of the

Department and Council and complying with national and service procedures and guidance

- Accountable for complex decision-making

- Report writing

- Demonstrate the use of a range of social work interventions with children, young people and their

families to reduce risk, promote change and produce positive outcomes.

- Undertake statutory visits within required timescales and ensure that an accurate and timely

A record is made of this visit.

- Undertake Achieving Best Evidence interviews as required

- Undertake direct work with children, young people and their families.

Requirements:

- Social Work Degree or equivalent

- Social Work Wales registration

- Enhanced DBS

Experience:

- Children and Young People

-Minimum 1 or more years of experience
