The Role:

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, partnering closely with heads of departments and managers to provide financial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and precise monthly management accounts and reporting outcomes.
  • Produce board pack with commentary.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads and the broader finance team in budget and forecast development and management.
  • Assist in providing P&L and cashflow commentary and reporting to senior management regarding financial performance, actively pinpointing and executing profit enhancement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Foster an efficient financial control environment characterized by top-notch reconciliations and processes.
  • Aid the Finance Manager and Finance Director with ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.
  • Assist the finance team during year-end audits as necessary.
  • Scrutinize P&L and cashflow variances against budget and forecast, ensuring effective communication of results and commercial insights/actions.
  • Enhance the balance sheet reconciliation process to facilitate superior reporting and analysis of EBITDA to cash.
  • Provide support to the Finance team and business on ad hoc projects as required.
