We are currently looking for a Section Engineer for a large infrastructure scheme in the Carlisle area.

Must have previous Tier 1 contractor experience, ideally experience working within the Energy space of Civil Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish safe working culture and practice
  • Set up the RAMS
  • Comply with company procedures and legal obligations
  • Promote and comply with environmental compliance
  • Comply with company procedures
  • Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities
  • Establish the level and survey control for subcontracts
  • Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular
  • basis
  • Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
  • Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with PD to ensure site have adequate
  • resources to complete the tasks
  • Produce ITP's and Task Briefings
  • Produce Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets

The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria:

  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • Lift supervisor
  • Temporary works supervisor/coordinator
