Job Title: Social Worker - SafeGuarding Hub

Location: Cumbria

Salary: £50 per hour

Type: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Are you passionate about safeguarding children and making a real difference in their lives? Join our Safeguarding team in Cumbria and play a pivotal role in protecting the most vulnerable in our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a duty function, responding promptly to safeguarding concerns raised by the public or professionals.
  • Conduct MASH assessments on children at risk of harm, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Engage in 1:1 and group supervision sessions for ongoing support and professional development.
  • Contribute to team meetings, actively participating in the development and improvement of our safeguarding practices.
  • Collaborate with partners to build effective relationships, fostering a culture of safeguarding excellence within the SG Hub.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding the highest standards of social work practice.
