Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse
Service Care Solutions are working with a private medical provider to fill a position for a Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse. This position is a full time permanent role working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high standard of care to their patients.
Key role and responsibilities for Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse
- Responsible for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Service including surgery, pre operative assessment and post-operative care.
- Responsible for all care for patients including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
- Responsible for Admission and discharge of patients on theatre day
- Administering drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines
- Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities including checking equipment is ready for use
- Assisting with stock control ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available
Minimum requirements for Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse
- Experience within the private healthcare sector
- Minimum of 1 years post registration experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Current NMC registration

- Competitive salary of 32,800 - 40,500
