We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, flexible female* support workers to work as part of a team with a 11-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy and profound learning disabilities. Ideally, you will have some experience working with people, preferably within the community.

The support worker will be responsible for carrying out personal care to support the client to access meaningful community activities safely, including providing transport to and from activities. For this role it would be beneficial for you to have some background in working with people with physical and learning disabilities.

Ideally you would have knowledge and experience of:

·Cerebral Palsy

·Working with children

·Providing support in the community

·Carrying out personal care tasks

·Moving and Handling (client-specific training will be provided)

·PEG feeding (training will be provided)

·Working as part of a team

·Working closely with the client’s family

It is important that the support worker can commit to work

Monday to Friday 7.00am – 10am (Term time)

Monday to Friday 14.00pm – 20.00pm (Term time)

Saturday and Sunday 7.00am – 20.00pm (Term time)

Nights – 20.00pm – 7.00am

Monday to Friday 7.00am – 20.00pm (Half term)

Saturday and Sunday 7.00am – 20.00pm (Half term)

Night- 20.00pm – 7.00am

Full and part-time hours available.

Due to complex needs, the client would require 2:1 support when at home and accessing the community.

We aim to offer a competitive salary of £15.00 per hour (day and night rate)
