Position: Support Worker
Location: Carmarthenshire
Salary: 12.14 - 12.37 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time permanent
Benefits: 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years), flexible shift patterns, day shifts and sleep-in shifts, drivers preferred

They are a not for profit organisation that are committed to empowering individuals to live life to the fullest by providing person-centered support tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical and emotional support to adults with learning disabilities in a supported living setting.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Promote independence and choice, empowering individuals to make decisions about their own lives.
  • Support residents to access community activities, social events, and educational opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Flexible approach to work, including availability for shift work and sleep-in shifts.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle preferred.
