HR Assistant/Officer | £25,000-35,000 | Carnforth | Great team and working cultureAxon Moore is proud to be working in partnership with an award-winning company in the Carnforth area that are looking for a HR Assistant/Officer to work alongside the HR Director.Duties will include:• Assisting the department with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties including payroll and recruitment• Clerical and administrative support • Dealing with all recruitment and on boarding of new employees• Prepare Employee personnel files• Involvement in disciplinary, capabilities, grievances, performance management and absence management issues. • Planning and delivering training, including inductions for new employees• Assist the HR Director with the development of new policies, procedures and practices• Assist in the preparation of payroll dataRequired Skills and Experience:• Previous experience in an HR role or similar position preferred.• Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.• Payroll preparation experience.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.Package and benefits:• Salary up to £35,000 (dependent on experience)• 28 days holiday including bank holidays• Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with half an hour lunch (37.5 hours)• Retail, gym and holiday discounts• Free parkingInterested?
