Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Carrickfergus to recruit a Researcher for a fixed term contract of 6 months

The person hired will be responsible to research company history, through interviews with employee`s past and present, customers and other stakeholders to gather material, that will be used to develop media that illustrate and highlight company history, such as company time line, company videos, etc.

You will gather material, that you will use to create media that will best illustrate and highlight the company`s history.

Duties

To research company history, through interviews with employee`s past and present, customers and other stakeholders to gather material to develop media that illustrate and highlight company history, such as company time line, company videos, etc.
Compile comprehensive contact information for past and present employees, customers and other relevant stakeholders.
To research company history, through interviews with employee`s past and present, customers and other stakeholders.
Gather historic photos, marketing material, promotional material, product imagery used throughout the company`s history.
Create copy for events, PR campaigns using the above information.
Compile and maintain an archive of the information and materials gathered which adheres to the companies GDPR policies.
Presenting findings to a range of audiences (internal and external).
Utilise the above information and materials to develop various media that illustrates the company`s history, such as videos, articles, time lines, etc.
Co-ordinate with third party companies to create videos, graphical materials.
Any other duties within reason and your capability as determined by the manager or senior director.

Criteria

Applicants must have previous experience in a journalism / researching role - you should have experience with research or creative writing

You need to be self-motivated, organised and target driven to be successful in this role.

You must have access to a clean driving license to be eligible for the role. You will be expected to travel in both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland for the role and occasionally to mainland UK

Role is working Monday to Friday - Salary 25k ( pro rata for 6 months )
