CNC Recruitment is looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our prestigious client in Chard area - a recognised market leader in the frequency control market.

Duties:

  • ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing
  • ISO 14001:2015 internal auditing
  • Raising and managing NCR/RMA cases
  • Customer reporting
  • Compiling and managing Supplier CARs
  • Managing the AVL (Approved Vendors List)
  • Ensuring our commitment to Continuous Improvement
  • Assisting the QM with any reasonable requests

Skills:

Essential:

  • ISO 9001:2015 qualified internal auditor
  • ISO 14001:2015 qualified internal auditor
  • Address and discuss audit issues and proposed solutions with superiors
  • QA experience within a Manufacturing environment (SQE, QE or similar)
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel)
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance

Desirable:

  • Good communicator, both verbal and written
  • Ability to update procedures and work instructions via ECC
  • Team approach to problem-solving (8D) training given
  • Able to work independently on internal projects
  • Automotive/Aerospace background
  • Self-motivated – able to work from own initiative and within a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills

Maximum 2 days/week hybrid working opportunity.
