What will you be doing?

Reporting to the external Finance Director, as the most senior member of finance on-site, you will oversee the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the accounts department.

You will support the external accountants with monthly payroll, ensuring HMRC returns are submitted on time.

You'll produce first draft management accounts, reporting financial performance for departments against budgets and forecasts.

Under the guidance of the finance director, you will assist with reporting cash flow, profit and loss, year-end accounts, corporation tax and HMRC reports.

About you…

Ideally, you will be studying towards your AAT or higher level qualification, or perhaps you're qualified by experience.

You'll have previous experience in undertaking the responsibilities listed above.

You are hard-working and proactive, keen to learn, and can take initiative and work well under pressure.

You have strong interpersonal skills and are an effective communicator and team player, with the desire to support the team.
