Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 拢33,000.00 per year
Hours 45 hours per week (excluding breaks) over 5 working days.
Your main responsibilities are to:
路Manage food purchasing to ensure targets are achieved and supplier relations are upheld.
路Manage stock counts to ensure there is minimal wastage.
路Manage the food production and be accountable for the quality of all food leaving the kitchens, covering Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner services.
路Be accountable for the cleanliness and safe systems of work in the kitchen adhering to our Health and Hygiene processes and local authority 5 star standards at all time.
路Create pride in the team enabling them to deliver a consistent branded experience.
路Train, mentor and develop junior staff.
路To perform all tasks in the absence of the Head Chef to the required standard.
路Regularly review information and feedback and consistently respond to guest feedback.
路Support the business with new venue acquisitions and their culinary offerings.
You will be:
路A team player but also a strong leader who is not afraid to step up in the absence of the head chef.
路You have an outgoing personality, exceptional organisational and communication skills both with guests and colleagues.
路A minimum of 2 years experience in similar establishment
路Ready to take the next step in your career
路Own transport as location is rural with limited public transport
路The holder of a level 2 Health and Safety certificate
Who we are:
Located on the stunningly, idyllic Charlton Hall Estate just outside of Alnwick, Northumberland. The Doxford Group is a family run organisation already specialising in delivering extraordinary wedding and event experiences. In addition to the wedding venues, the Tempus Hotel, Bar and Restaurant is a boutique hotel that is in the grounds. Our bedrooms are totally individual and reflect our unique style that is carried through to our restaurant and bar.
