Head of Product Management - Essex - hybrid - 2 Day WFH

£80,000 - £85,000 per annum + Bonus (10%)

We are delighted to work exclusively with a leading manufacturing of complex products in the engineering space, focusing on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. As part of their commitment to driving the business forward, we are looking for a Product Marketing professional to join their dynamic team based in Essex. This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring a presence in their Essex office at least three days a week. 

The Role:

As Head of Product Management, you will be pivotal in leading and managing the Product Management and Channel Strategy globally. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience managing a team that will manage a product portfolio and be accountable for product strategy marketing, value proposition, go-to-market strategy, pricing, promotion, profitability, and the deployment of digital tools. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire product life cycle, from new product development to product withdrawal. 
  • Develop and implement a three-year product roadmap aligned with a growth strategy. 
  • Create and implement channel management programs to support the Sales teams through indirect channels such as Distribution and Representatives.
  • Develop and own digital platforms and tools, focusing on enhancing and simplifying the customer experience. 
  • Oversee the social platforms and webpages, working closely with the marketing team to publish content that supports business development. 
  • Offer an online shop to improve the customer journey and facilitate online purchases.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, analyze market trends, and generate marketing intelligence reports for board-level presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Products Business Director to drive marketing-focused strategies and initiatives.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the four pillars of marketing: price, product, promotion, and place, with a passion for product marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans.
  • Experience in channel marketing, including identifying partners and implementing programs.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and webshop development.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience reporting to board-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on marketing-driven approaches.
