Our client based in Chelmsford are looking for a Security Officer on a temporary on-going basis. You will be required to work within the town centre (shopping centre)Salary & Benefits * Full Induction and Training provided!* Pension. * Weekly pay* 拢12.44 per hour**PLEASE NOTE AN EXISTING CCTV LICENCE AND SIA LICENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION***This will be a 50/50 role consisting of control room and patrolling the shopping centreShifts are 5 over 7 days on a rota basis 40- 50 hour week days and nightsVarious shifts start/finish timesPLEASE CONTACT KIERAN ON , OR EMAIL Main Responsibilities:Shopping Centre路 Effective monitoring of building alarm systems.路 Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site.路 Being a visible security contact for customers and staff.路 Informing violators of policy and procedures.路 Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.路 Fire, security and building systems monitoring.路 Quickly responding to incidents within minutes of them occurring路 Writing reports up about any disturbances that may have occurred路 Service area barrier control and traffic management.Control RoomExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal路 Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage路 Ability to work by own initiative with sound judgement路 Ability to remain calm in challenging situations路 Honest and Trustworthy with an ability to lead by example.路 Effective monitoring of CCTV and remote/mobile Video Monitoring systems.路 Monitoring and effective control of vehicular card access system.路 Appropriate skills to deal with evacuation procedures & alarm responses.
