A dynamic technology and communications company in Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their support team working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (37.5 hours a week) and paying 23,000 - 27,000 per annum depending on relevant skills and experience.

Key responsibilities for this Sales Administrator include but are not limited to:

  • Processing Customer details on various customer portals
  • Sales Order Processing onto the system
  • Stock Management (in pursuit of Sales Order processing you may need to order some stock to process sales orders)
  • Offer excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Dealing with courier companies in relation to customer orders
  • Dealing with phone enquiries in relation to customer orders and stock
  • Managing customer service inbox and ticketing systems
  • Other duties may include stock inventory takes, price and brand analysis


Skills Required:

  • Highly motivated team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Telephone manner and confident multitasker
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good punctuality and time management
  • Experience working in a sales administrator or call centre and customer service environment beneficial
  • Ability to take initiative and to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Previous stock order experience desirable
  • Touch typing desirable
