This specialist groundworks contractor is expanding due to winning an extensive amount of new long term projects and are in need of an ambitious health and safety advisor to join their team. Work closely with the site team, ensuring the site is compliant and following up with regular audits, reports and inspections. Long term you'll see a clear path of both technical and career development with opportunities to move into a managerial role in 2 years.
The role of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
*Being on site carrying out audits, ensuring the site is compliant, liaising with the site teams.
*Following up with weekly reports, attending meetings, liaising with the SHEQ manager and senior management team
*Ensuring health and safety KPIs are hit and reporting any issues or concerns on to be actioned
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:
*Nebosh; general or construction
*Experience in civils construction, industrial or waste management, RC frames or ground works
*Must be commutable to site in Braintree and able to travel after completed project around the Essex area.
