Our client, operating within London's Public Sector, is currently seeking a Parking Operations Manager on a contract basis. This role is crucial for overseeing and managing the efficient operations of parking enforcement and school crossing patrols within the London Borough.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and line managing Senior Civil Enforcement Officers and School Crossing Patrol staff
  • Ensuring efficient and effective financial and human resource deployment
  • Overseeing the operational management of civil parking enforcement and school crossing patrols
  • Managing and organising work outside 'normal' office hours, up to 36 hours per week
  • Implementing agreed service outcomes in line with established protocols
  • Dealing effectively with staff sickness, disciplinary issues, and other people-management tasks


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in operational management within a parking environment
  • In-depth knowledge of parking legislation and relevant codes of practice
  • Proven people-management skills
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance cover
  • Ability to work non-standard hours as required
