We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to work on production equipment used for the manufacture of RF products, from standard to bespoke solutions.

This role requires someone to be experienced withelectrical / electronic designandPLC programming.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Producing technical electrical & mechatronic drawings for new & legacy equipment
- Programming of PLCs, HMIs, controllers and LabVIEW software
- Working with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisation and prioritisation of own workload
- Providing progress updates
- Working methodically and producing work of a high quality
Experience/Skills:
- Engineering qualifications such as HNC, Degree or similar
- Electrical / electronic design experience
- Ability to work from detailed technical drawings and manuals
- Experience of PLC programming and other controllers
- Knowledge of general engineering best practices
Desirable:
- Knowledge of other engineering areas: mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
- Use of Autodesk PDMC; AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor 3D and others
- Experience of Mitsubishi PLCs and software: GX Works, Developer
