This is a great opportunity to join a leading employer of choice.  We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our client's payroll team supporting over 1000+ employees in the UK. As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of payroll data and the administration of various statutory payments and deductions. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be essential in reconciling payroll, HMRC payments, and compliance with pension regulations. You will also have the opportunity to provide invaluable data to the finance system and pension provider, as well as handle queries from employees, HR, and other stakeholders with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Responsible for inputting data and updating employee records
  • Preparing reports and reconciling payroll for approval
  • Administering statutory pay and deductions
  • Preparing end-of-year data
  • Dealing with queries from employees, HR, and other parties and investigating discrepancies promptly
  • Working on ad-hoc administration activities and projects
Preferred Requirements:
  • Whilst most of these requirements are preferred, you must have prior experience using payroll software, specifically ADP Freedom or ADP iHCM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HMRC regulations and pension administration
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related queries effectively
  • Proven track record of working in a high-volume payroll environment with accuracy and efficiency
  • Familiarity with end-of-year tax processes and reporting
