Our client, a dynamic technology and communications company, is seeking a Customer Development Assistant to join their team in Chelmsford. As a Customer Development Assistant, you will have the opportunity to provide excellent customer service through phone and email communication, processing orders efficiently, and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers. In addition, you will collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the overall growth of the organisation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in customer service/order processing is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Offer excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Process website orders efficiently
  • Build and maintain customer and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate with suppliers/manufacturers
  • Collaborate with courier companies regarding customer orders
  • Handle phone inquiries related to customer orders and stock
  • Manage the customer service inbox and ticketing systems
  • Conduct website pricing audits and perform weekly updates
  • Ensure the website has the latest products online through regular website audits
