We are working with a lovely new independent deli / restaurant in the lovely Cotswold's. This will be for a new opening and the chance to grow and develop closely with the Owners. Future plans include opening a 50 Seater restaurant serving home grown hearty meals and fresh weekly specials.The Head Chef will lead a small team to start and mainly catering for the Deli Operation. Think fresh Sandwiches, Sausage Rolls, Pies and Pasties and cakes. This will be a busy takeaway service initially with an on site restaurant opening next year.  There is also a Gelato operation which will be busy int he summerEverything will be made fresh on site and with plans to bring in smokers and bakery equipment. They plan on smoking their own meats and fish and will be using on site produce as well as local suppliers,We are looking for a flexible and committed Head Chef who is looking for a role in a small local company with very ambitious future plans. They have training and development funds available for the head chef to do stages / tasting trips / food development both nationally and abroad.The operation will be 7 days and the Head Chef will be working most weekend over the busy summer season and be on a 5/7 day rota. In the off season hours and opening hour s may be reduced and initial working hours will be roughly 9am to 5pm but flexibility will be required.If you are an enthusiastic Head Chef looking for a new challenge in a beautiful location with a relaxed and friendly team and owners then get in touch. This is very much a long term project and the client will be looking for a Chef who is then able to take on the running of the restaurant.
