For our client, a well established Accountancy Practice in Cheltenham, we are looking for a Client Manager to handle a portfolio of clients.
Main responsibilities and duties:- Manage own portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, LLP’s, limited companies and charities. - Preparing accounts and dealing with corporate taxes and personal tax.- Dealing with the bookkeeping requirements on a few clients.- Preparing/reviewing VAT returns.- Client contact including face to face meetings, emails and telephone conversations.- Responsible for ensuring filing deadlines are met.- Tax advisory work when required.
Requirements:- ACA/ACCA Qualified- Worked in practice managing own portfolio- Experienced in preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns- Sage and Xero knowledge, Iris is also desirable - Comfortable communicating with clients- Can work on own and as part of a team- Can drive and has own car
Salary and Benefits:- £40-£50k depending on experience and qualifications- Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 from home - Pension - auto enrolment scheme - Bonus - at directors discretion - Parking on site- Hours: 9am-5pm with 30 minutes lunch break
