Hays Senior Finance are partnering exclusively with a high-growth technology business based in Cheltenham. This position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organisation. The Head of Finance is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results, budgeting & forecasting, all statutory financial reporting and managing the company's financial affairs.

As a member of the Senior Management team, the Head of Finance will provide leadership and operational management to the finance function, developing working partnerships with other departments and the Senior Management team.Responsibilities- Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for presentation to the Board- Ensure all transactions and month-end accruals are accurate.- Reporting of revenue and work in progress- Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations- Collaborate on senior leadership on monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting- Variance Analysis of results and KPIs providing financial insight to identify risks and opportunities supporting the delivery of the company objectives- Financial Oversight Responsible for day-to-day management of the finance function- Overseeing Finance Manager; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll- Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls- Supporting commercial decision-making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis etc- Identifying and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs- Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to the ELT- Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information- Governance & Compliance Ensuring the company maintains a strong financial control environment by reviewing, developing and implementing new financial processes and improvements- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards and external reporting requirements.What do you get?
