Warehouse Supervisor

Juice is delighted to be working with fantastic company in central Cheltenham, in their search for a Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager to join their team.

Supporting a small team of 3, this role would be ideal for a Warehouse Supervisor looking to progress their career into Management.

Day to day:

• Supervise of staff in the receipt, inspection, safe storage, efficient retrieval and despatch to critical customers within a range of industries.
• Ensure that procedures and methods of best practice are adhered to at all times
• Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
• Encourage staff training and development as necessary
• Maintenance and development of warehousing systems
• Liaison with customers, suppliers and transport companies as required
• Ensure that stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
• Goods inwards inspection - acceptance / rejection of goods
• Specialist Inspection; Vision System, Profile Projector etc, as necessary
• Issue and tracking of QAN’s (customer rejections)

• Must have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
• Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the warehouse
• Set and maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
• Must build good working relationships with staff at all levels within the business
• Promote and co-ordinate effective and affable interactions with the various business functions
• Ability to deal with problems and change in an effective and congruent manner

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30-16.45, Friday 8.30-13.00
