This leading golf club has had huge investment in all facilities including the bar, dining, functions and meeting spaces and as such are looking to expand their F&B team by adding an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to the team. This is a broad role and will involve recruiting of new staff as well as upskilling new members whilst always promoting a service culture that exceeds customer expectations.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:

  • Working in partnership with the F&B Manager to provide the best quality service to members and corporate clients.
  • Management and coaching of existing team and recruitment of any additional team members.
  • Foster a culture of communication amongst the team to motivate and to drive a teamwork culture.
  • Lead by example by being supportive, engaging with customers and communicating effectively with colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar F&B role is essential.
  • Experience of managing events of all sizes (up to approx. 100 people)
  • Budgeting experience including looking at ideas to increase profitability whilst also reducing waste and cost.

Please note that due to the beautiful countryside location it is likely that you will need a car / bike to get to the venue.
