Location: Hybrid 1 Day a week in Gloucestershire
Salary - 40,000 - 45,000

Position Overview: As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Back-end Developer to deliver high-quality .NET C# solutions. Your role encompasses producing meticulously documented, testable code aligned with Kingsbridge standards to address business needs. With guidance from Lead Developers and the Technical Architect, you'll tackle diverse technical tasks with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Provide robust, innovative solutions across our software platforms.
- Apply expertise in coding languages, software design patterns, and best practices.
- Ensure technical solutions align with our overall architecture and prioritize security considerations.
- Manage project phases and deliverables effectively.
- Develop Functional and Unit tests for all development work.
- Utilize Atlassian tools for development workload management and version control systems (GitHub/Bitbucket).
Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Proficiency in .Net C# (ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core), with ideally 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in Azure development and integration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL Databases.
- Proficiency in issue tracking tools, particularly the Atlassian suite, especially Jira.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (SCRUM/Sprints/Kanban).
- Experience with Git version control using GitHub/Bitbucket.
Desired:
- Familiarity with REST Web APIs and microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Azure Service Bus or equivalent).
- Understanding of OAuth/FusionAuth.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Understanding of design principles.
- Experience in writing Functional and Unit Tests.
- Previous experience in supporting software.
- A degree or equivalent in a Computing-related field.
