Main tasks include booking jobs, arranging collections, advising on shipments, keeping customers updated, dealing with customs, responding to emails, and ensuring invoicing is up to date
Qualities/skills required: Good communication, time management, IT skills, and ability to work well in a team
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Great career opportunity for a Trainee Air Import Clerk required for a busy expanding Freight Forwarder based in Chertsey.

Duties would include handling Air Import Shipments from start to finish including custom procedures & Invoicing looking after key accounts FULL TRAINING WOULD BE GIVEN

Ideal for a candidate who already has some office / customer service experience wishing to start a career in freight forwarding.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:-

• Ensure that all jobs are booked onto Box Top

• Arrange collection from overseas agents

• Advise on new shipments

• Keep customers updated on progress at all times

• Dealing with customs

• Ensure emails are responded and dealt with in a timely manner

• Ensure invoicing is up to date

Qualities/Skills required -

• Good communication skills

• Good time management skills

• Proficient IT skills

• Team Player
