HGV Technician, required near Woking, Surrey.

Join our client's dynamic team near Woking, Surrey as an HGV Technician. You'll be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. My client offers a competitive salary for HGV Technicians with overtime paid at time and a half.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Perform routine servicing tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire replacements.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools effectively to identify and troubleshoot issues.

Experience essential for this role:

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician, with a strong background in HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic work environment.
