We are looking to recruit a Factory Labourer to work within a manufacturing facility in Birtley.
The role involves:
- Supporting the manufacturing team with the preparation of materials
- Measuring out materials in preparation for manufacturing
- Use of Manual Handling Equipment for the movement of raw materials (manually and with the use of FLT)
- Following specific instructions for different types of products
- Working to daily targets
This does require manually lifting so applicants must be physically fit. There will also be a requirement to use a Fork Lift Truck, training will be provided.
The role will involve working on a three shift pattern 6.00am-2.00pm, Monday to Friday 2.00pm-10.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00pm-6.00am Sunday to Thursday. You will also be required to work Saturday when you are on the 6.00am-2.00pm shift. (One in every 3 weeks)
This is a permanent position with a Salary of £28,292.36 this includes all shift allowances.
Essential Attributes:
- Good numerical skills as you will be working with numbers for measurements
- Physically fit
Desired Experience:
- Previous use of a fork lift truck or a ForkLift license is highly advantageous
