Local Government | Project Accountant | Remote Working
Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a reputable Local Authority to identify a Project Accountant, during a progressive period of change for the Council. The role offers remote working and will be for an initial 6-12 month period.
Responsibilities include;
- Compiling business cases to support the redesign of service area
- Attending meetings with budget holders and key stake holders
- Business partnering at senior level to advise on progress and financial position of projects
- Work with Head of Property to identify improvements and efficiencies, driving value for money
- Working on estate rationalisation to promote local economic growth
The successful candidate;
- Experience within Public Sector Finance
- Ability to build influential relationships at senior level
