Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in English or a related subject

  • Experience teaching English at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to inclusive education and the wellbeing of all students

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching GCSE English Language and Literature

  • Familiarity with current educational trends and assessment frameworks

  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives
