Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a payroll administrator to join our proficient payroll team. In this role, you will manage various client payrolls from initiation to completion, handling your own client portfolio while collaborating within the team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with payroll experience to become part of our dynamic team. We encourage candidates interested in pursuing the CIPP qualification to apply.

Responsibilities:

Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for assigned client portfoliosGathering necessary client information, processing data, and delivering final payroll documents and pay slipsNotifying clients of PAYE and NIC liabilitiesFacilitating BACS payments for employee salariesEnsuring compliance with pension filing requirementsConducting quality control checks on payrollsAddressing client inquiries related to payroll mattersAssisting in the setup of new payroll tasksSupporting Payroll Manager in departmental marketing effortsEngaging in ad hoc payroll projects and statutory updatesWorking Arrangements:

25 days of annual leave (excluding bank holidays)Pension Scheme enrollmentCandidate Requirements:

Essential:

Prior experience in payroll administrationBureau experience is advantageousStrong organizational skillsAbility to work autonomouslySelf-motivation and enthusiasmCapacity to work with minimal supervisionProficiency in learning new payroll softwareGood IT skills, especially in Excel
