About the Role:
Simply Education is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Qualified Mathematics Teachers to join schools in the Chester area. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through the power of mathematics, whether you are looking for full-time or part-time teaching roles.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality Mathematics education and supporting students to achieve success and confidence in numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach structured, stimulating Maths lessons across a range of abilities.
  • Assessment & Tracking: Use diverse assessment tools to monitor progress and provide constructive, data-driven feedback.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a productive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Differentiation: Adjust instruction to meet the needs of students with SEN, EAL, and those requiring additional challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Share strategies, lesson plans, and resources with colleagues.
  • Safeguarding: Prioritise the safety, welfare, and well-being of all students.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing CPD to stay current with best practices in Maths education.

Key Skills & Qualities:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong command of mathematical content and curriculum knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction effectively.
  • Proven classroom management strategies.
  • Patience, resilience, and a student-centred approach.

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics within the UK national curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN.
  • A passion for promoting numeracy and logical thinking in innovative ways.
