- Work closely with jobseekers to identify any health (physical/mental) and wellbeing barriers that may be impacting their ability to find and maintain employment.
- Devise and maintain individual action plans and goals for each member, assessing the progress of your caseload.
- Deliver tailored programmes to support participants with managing their health (e.g. Anxiety; Stress Management; Pain Management etc.)
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Employability Team and External Stakeholders (e.g. Healthcare providers) and signpost your caseload if needed.
- Provide training to the Employability team surrounding awareness of healthcare barriers.
- Maintain accurate records regarding participants progress.
- Must have experience of working within a similar role within Health Promotion or Public Health.
- Must have experience of supporting individuals with health (mental/physical) and wellbeing issues, through return-to-work support / vocational rehabilitation / occupational health.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of a healthy lifestyle and their benefits.
- Have strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ideally hold a recognised health qualification registered with Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), or British Association for Behaviour & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
