About the hotel-

Van Dyk by Wildes is a privately owned hotel that offers a luxury four-star status with 1 AA Rosette for its quality of food and beverage. We are located just off junction 30 on the M1, on the boarder of Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. We are a renowned wedding venue, participating in around 300 weddings each year delivering exceptional customer service to hundreds of thousands of guests on countless occasions.

About the role-

We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve exciting and classical beverages. You will also upsell items, garnish drinks correctly and handle basic cleaning duties on a regular basis. To be successful, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality when complying with guests.

You will be responsible for-

·The service of drinks, keeping consistent standards for every order.

·Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.

·Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.

·Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons.

·Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing rubbish, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment- an efficient ‘Clean as you go’ attitude.

Cocktail knowledge is preferrable, but all training is provided.
