Friday - Monday: Start time between - 3.00AM & 11.00AM

Pay Rate:
MONDAY - THURSDAY - £15.05 PER HOUR FRIDAY £17.20 PER HOUR SATURDAY £16.13 PER HOUR SUNDAY £18.28 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield working Friday to Monday with ad hoc availability midweek.

This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

You will be driving and operating refrigerated trailers so you must have experience for this role.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Comply with Driving rules and regulations
• Setting refrigerated trailer temperatures
• Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all times
• Trunk runs to depots
• Positive 'can do' attitude

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category C+E licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 18 months experience driving C+E vehicles
• Maximum of 6 penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience operating temperature controlled trailers

Desirable Experience

• Experience of working covering weekend shifts is desirable but not essential.

What training is provided?

• Driving and written assessment is required for this role.
