- Collaborating with the Privacy team to establish and maintain a structured process for tracking and reporting on Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance controls.
- Evaluating and overseeing the effectiveness of first-line PCI controls by coordinating with control operators, providing compliance updates, and supporting control owners in resolving any gaps or issues.
- Conducting monthly sample testing to assess the operational effectiveness of key high-risk financial controls including PO accruals, IFRS 16, and intercompany transactions, and carrying out in-depth reviews in areas identified as weak.
- Assessing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they meet quality standards, are complete, and comply with balance sheet reconciliation requirements.
- Carrying out Compliance & Ethics-related reviews and data analysis within the Finance department as needed.
- Ideally previous PCI knowledge would be desirable, however training will be provided
- Previous experience in operating or testing financial controls
- Exposure to external audit, internal audit or from within a consulting environment
- Full or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form, particularly with communicating financial matters to non-financial professionals
