Role: Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Clay Cross
Role: Permanent
Industry: Manufacturing and production
Structure: Working closely with the Project Manager, Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager.
Pay: Up to 45,000 DOE
Holidays: 33 days, 10% employer contribution pension, annual company bonus up to 10% of gross salary, quarterly bonus, life cover x3 of salary.
Benefits: Death in service x3 of salary, Pension.
Hours: Monday to Friday - flexible office hours.

Overview:
The Mechanical project engineer will be responsible for project delivery, from cradle to grave - initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing of the projects.
You will be tasked to manage major capital investment projects from start (design and planning) through to delivery (installation and commission)
Reporting to the UK projects manager and working closely with Engineering and Maintenance Manager you will be the mechanical lead engineer on the project from a management aspect.

The ideal candidate / Mechanical Project Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working within manufacturing and maintenance. For example you may have taken the career progression route similar to: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to Maintenance Supervisor to Project Engineer and/or Mechanical Maintenance Manager/Engineering Manager - we need a mechanical engineer who understands a production environment/processes and have worked on projects in a maintenance and manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Engineering - Mechanical engineering
- Prince 2 Certified
- Managed large projects
- A good understanding of Mechanical engineering and a strong appreciation for machinery within a production focused environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A working knowledge of CDM regulations would be advantageous
- Any CAD experience would be advantageous.
