Plant Fitter – Hybrid (Workshop & Field)

Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (flexible depending on experience)

Neos Engineering are partnered with a well-established infrastructure and drilling specialist who are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join their expanding engineering team. This hybrid position offers an excellent mix of workshop-based maintenance and field service work, supporting a variety of heavy plant and specialist drilling machinery.

The Role
  • Service, maintain, and repair a range of equipment including drilling rigs, excavators, telehandlers, and power packs

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical faults

  • Carry out independent field service work, ensuring high-quality and efficient results

  • Support the workshop team with planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns

The Candidate
  • Proven experience working with hydraulics and electrics (essential)

  • Background in plant or drilling equipment maintenance

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Confident working independently, both in the workshop and on customer sites

The Benefits
