We are heading towards the summer and the client we are supporting are growing quickly. With the Airbnb and holiday lets getting busier already, we are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant.

This is an immediate start working on a temporary ongoing basis or 6-month contract. The likelihood is, that this role will become a permanent role after the 6-month period, should you really enjoy the position.

The role is working full time hours - 9am - 5.30pm and 5 days a week, however these days could be across weekend days. You will always have two days rest a week.

Duties will include (not limited to):

Washing of linen with the use of large washing machines.
Folding and ironing using industrial irons and rollers
Reporting any faults with laundry machinery.
Dealing with customers - providing excellent customer service.
Receiving incoming deliveries and coordinating the shipping of laundry back to properties.
Complying with Health and safety regulations.

We do require you to have some previous experience within a laundry or domestic cleaning environment would be highly advantageous, however full training will be given.

You need to display a willingness to learn and work hard as this is a busy environment. It is best you are happy working in a warm environment, on your feet all day and within a manual role.

Salary: 24,000 - 25,000 per annum
