This could be a fabulous move into a thriving, professional and dynamic environment with a highly regarded and successful investment based business based in Chichester. The position of Private Office Assistant is required to be part of a dynamic fast paced exciting business.

The role responsibilities:

As the Private Office Assistant you would be assisting in the management of private client relationships and their investment portfolios, this will not include giving advice, and generally supporting the team in developing and managing client relationships and would include:

  • Resolve/action general administration queries
  • Prepare agendas and paperwork for committee and team meetings and take minutes
  • Deal with compliance related matters such as collation of anti-money laundering documentation, checking client documentation
  • Sending and checking payment instructions to the Central Administration Team for internal and external cash payments
  • Liaise and monitor corrective action with the Central Administration team on corporate actions/incorrect postings
  • Liaise with the Central Administration team to maintain accuracy of client data on Pulse and databases
  • Assist in the production of investment reports and performance data
  • Assist with corrective action as required in relation to the weekly fund reconciliations

Requirements for a successful application for the position of Private Office Assistant:

  • Communicates effectively; written and verbal
  • 'Ideally’ some experience within the financial sector / working towards the CFA Investment Management Certificate (IMC)
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective on the telephone
  • Confident
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences.
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Enjoys working in a busy position with a wide variety of tasks.
