Contract Manager – Main Contractor
Passive Fire Projects
Up to £60,000 plus package
My client are an fire safety and electrical contractor who are currently recruiting for an Contract Manager to head up a new division in their business.
Due to high demand, they have already accumulated £5-£6 million per annum of passive fire projects. They are now looking to grow this diviison and looking for an Contract Manager to manage delivery and spearhead the growth of the sector.
The Role;
Within this role, you will work along side a commercial manager ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S Your direct team will include management, supervisors, operatives & office staff. You will report directly in to the divisional director who will support you in making the contracts a success.
The Candidate;
The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire protection contracts. Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A good knowledge of up to date legislations and strong organisational skills is also desired.
Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.
