Miles Recruitment have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join a beautiful pub near Chippenham, looking to strengthen their team.
As Sous Chef you will work as part of the kitchen management team, supporting and working alongside the Head Chef. Some of your other main duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and served promptly.
- Maintain inventory levels and place orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
- Assist in managing kitchen equipment, ensuring it is used properly and maintained regularly.
In this position as Sous Chef, it is important that you're able to work effectively and efficiently in a busy environment. Other attributes and qualities desired include:
- A great team player - working with the whole team, both front of house and kitchen, to ensure that every customer has a fantastic experience.
- Reliable and passionate - being punctual, well presented, honest and full of enthusiasm.
