The Role

We are seeking a talented an
d motivated Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team, at Kin House.
This is a senior position responsible for helping lead the kitchen alongside the Head Chef and Executive Chef, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional food quality and smooth, efficient operations during high-volume wedding services. The Senior Sous Chef will also play a key role in team leadership, training, menu execution, and ensuring high operational standards.

This role would suit an established Sous Chef ready to step up, or an experienced Senior Sous Chef looking for a dynamic, multi-venue opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations at Kin House.
Lead services confidently, ensuring exceptional flavour, presentation, and timing.
Take charge of the kitchen during the Head Chefs absence.
Support kitchen operations at Hyde House on selected events when required.
Assist in training, developing, and motivating the kitchen team across both venues.
Ensure efficient workflow during prep and service, maintaining consistency and quality.
Adhere to and enforce food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
Support menu delivery and contribute to seasonal menu evolution.
Assist with ordering, stock control, and communication with suppliers.
Help maintain a positive, professional, and supportive kitchen culture.

About You
Experienced Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in weddings, banqueting, or premium hospitality.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate teams.
Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
Calm, dependable, and confident in high-volume service environments.
Flexible and willing to support across both venues when needed (approx. 1 hour apart).
Strong understanding of food safety, allergen management, and kitchen best practice.
Full driving licence and own transport preferred due to multi-site support.
