Your new companyYour new company are a new, independent utilities infrastructure business formed from the division of a previously leading infrastructure service company. They design, build and maintain the UK's utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better.They are incredibly proud of their client base, including the likes of Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power, providing them with an efficient, speedy and customer-focused engineering service.Your new roleYour new role will see you joining the consultancy as a Civil Design Engineer, as either an experienced Project or Senior Engineer. You will join the dedicated Design and Construct teams, currently delivering an expanding workload for your clients on a number of D&C frameworks throughout the UK.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team on a wide variety of projects covering all aspects of Wastewater and Water networks, and treatment facilities through the project lifestyle from feasibility design through detailed design to construction.The position will be based in the Warrington and will involve a mixture of hybrid working, with even more flexibility provided to candidate at a higher level. You will have the opportunity to work on both challenging and exciting projects of a technical nature designing excellent services and solutions for our wide client base by assisting the team in all relevant projects and activities to meet client objectives and needs. Working as part of a team, you will acquire a portfolio of technical knowledge and transferable skills that will give you a wide choice of careers options.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be degree qualified, and for more senior positions have professional qualifications with either the ICE or IStructE. Furthermore you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Computer literate and conversant with MS Office suite and relevant engineering software packages
  • Demonstrable experience in Water / Wastewater Engineering preferable
  • Good written and oral communication and organisational skills and to produce reports in clear concise English
  • Desire to develop existing skills and acquire new technical competences to enhance personal and team capability
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment with a dedicated approach to meet project deadlines
  • Client focused approach to service delivery
  • Proven enthusiasm to embrace and participate in career development initiatives
  • Full Driving Licence
