Here at Prospero, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join one of our local primary school teams in Chorley, as a KS2 Teaching Assistant. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students, helping to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students in the classroom.
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Monitor student progress and report to teachers.
- Help with classroom management and organisation.
- Contribute to the overall development and well-being of our students.
Qualifications:
- TA qualifications or a degree qualification in a relevant subject.
- Relevant experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced educational environment.
